Meet, mingle and socialize with other singles while enjoying the mouth-watering culinary pleasures of Clementi's Italian-American Bistro. This charming new restaurant is located at the edge of downtown Arlington Heights. Clementi's prepares hearty Italian and American dishes in a rich traditional manner and presents them in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

After dinner, you can enjoy singing, listening and dancing to karaoke music throughout the rest of the evening. What a great way to get to know other singles, showing off your talents or cheering for theirs (or just appreciating their courage).

Your delightful evening begins with a cocktail party (cash bar) in the lounge area, followed by a sit-down dinner. Your choice of entrées includes:

• Clementi's Lasagna - Homemade Traditional Lasagna Layered with Fresh Egg Noodles, Imported Cheeses and Hearty Meat Sauce with Baked Mozzarella
• Veal Milanese - Veal Medallions with Seasoned Breadcrumbs, sautéed in Olive Oil and topped with Lemon Butter Sauce. Served with Pasta or Vegetable Side
• Linguini alla Frutti di Mare - Linguini Pasta with Mussels, Scallops, Calamari and Fresh Fish in a Spicy Marinara Sauce
• Chicken Vesuvio - Half Chicken, pan fried until crispy, and served in Garlic and White Wine Sauce with Potato Wedges
• Fresh Fish "Catch of the Day," with Pasta or Potato and Chef's Vegetables
• Beef Braciole - Flank Steak rolled with Breaded Egg Crumbs, Garlic and Parmesan Cheese slowly braised in Marinara Sauce over Pasta
• Pork Chops Italian Style - Two Pork Chops, sautéed with Spices, Red Peppers and Mushrooms, oven-baked and topped with Vinaigrette. Served with Vegetables

Also included with dinner are sides, fresh baked bread and your choice of salad or soup and coffee or tea.

Your party is $36 for members and $38 for non-members or guests for dinner, entertainment, taxes and tips for advance registrations. Walk-ups will also be accepted at the door for $39 (space permitting). Dressy casual attire. Park in the lot. The restaurant's phone is 847-253-3544.

With a nip of fall in the air, Gourmet Connections and New Single Friends host a group outing to Binny's Beverage Depot's colossal tasting of quality upscale wines. The Midwest Wine Expo has grown into a luscious festival of fine wine and cuisine with hundreds and hundreds of wines from 12 countries, along with appetizing foodstuffs from superb west suburban restaurants. Join an entourage of other singles as we spend the afternoon touring, tasting and sampling all the festival has to offer.

For single wine aficionados, this festival is one of the two biggest events of the year. You can select tastings from scores of varietals from wine growing regions the world over. You'll find that many of these wines are unquestionably more costly than any you could sample elsewhere. And, at this reasonable cost, this giant tasting is an incredible value. What's more, the appetizing food samplings are an especially welcome added "plus."

We have secured an exclusive reduced rate for this event of $25 (compared to $40 at the door for the general public). To participate with our club, you must register in advance through Gourmet Connections. This special event is open to all singles (30s through 50s) regardless of past participation.

These are served in the restaurant's inviting "clubby" atmosphere of dark wood and white linen. This inviting newcomer has become one of the highly regarded neighborhood Italian restaurants in Chicago.

Your delightful evening begins with a cocktail hour (cash bar) in the downstairs private dining room, followed by a seated dinner party. Choose from six delicious entrees including:

• Rigatoni alla Rita, tossed with Shrimp and Broccoli in Garlic and Oil
• Veal Marsala - Sautéed Veal Medallions with White Mushrooms in Marsala Wine Sauce
• Grilled Chicken Joey - Grilled Breast over Rapini, White Beans and Fresh Tomatoes in Olive Oil and Lemon Sauce
• Lobster Tortellacci - Hand-stuffed Pasta, filled with Lobster and Ricotta Cheese topped with Creamy Sundried Tomato Basil Sauce
